Rebel Belle by Rachel HawkinsHomecoming should have been perfect for Southern Belle Harper Price. She had the swoon-worthy boyfriend, the flawless dress, and was a shoo-in for Homecoming Queen. But just before she’s crowned, she pops into the restroom to reapply her lip-gloss. Suddenly, her Perfect Evening becomes a total disaster.

She leaves the dance not only the Homecoming Queen, but a Paladin: someone with super human strength charged with protecting a Very Important Person. Unfortunately, the VIP she’s supposed to guard is David Stark, a school reporter whose favorite past-time is to publish obnoxious stories about her.

Now Harper’s extracurricular activities are shoved aside for her new responsibilities, and it’s not long before her grades, relationship with her boyfriend, and Southern Belle status are in danger. But Harper is the ultimate Steel Magnolia, and she refuses to let anything fall apart while she’s protecting David.

Even if it might mean ruining Cotillion.

Rebel Belle is laugh-out-loud funny, and full of non-stop action and witty banter. If you miss Buffy, check this one out!
